Two Days, One Mission: Bringing People Closer to the Qur'an

Alhamdulillah, AtTartil Quranic Institute spent a fulfilling two days at Quran Festival 2026 at Masjid Sultan Singapore. The festival brought together people from different countries, cultures, ages, and levels of Qur'anic knowledge.

Throughout the weekend, the AtTartil QI booth welcomed Muslims and non-Muslims who wanted to learn more about the Qur'an. Some visitors came with questions. Some wanted to explore Qur'anic education. Others discovered our programmes for the first time.

The conversations were different, but they shared one common point: curiosity about the Qur'an and what it can bring into a person's life.

This reflected the mission that guides our work at AtTartil QI:

"Where Qur'anic Knowledge Transforms Lives."

Creating a Space for People to Discover the Qur'an

A Qur'an festival gives the community a different way to engage with Islamic learning. Instead of entering a formal classroom, visitors can stop, ask a question, join an activity, or simply start a conversation.

Our booth provided that opportunity throughout the two-day festival.

The AtTartil QI team introduced visitors to our Qur'anic programmes and learning methods. We also organised games and activities to make Qur'anic learning more approachable.

Some visitors already had years of experience with the Qur'an. Others were taking their first steps. We also met non-Muslim visitors who wanted to understand more about Islam and the Qur'an.

Every conversation gave us another opportunity to share knowledge with care and clarity.

More Than 50 Participants Joined 'A Moment With Al-Quran'

One of the main highlights of the weekend was 'A Moment With Al-Quran', where more than 50 people participated.

The session created an opportunity for participants to engage directly with Qur'anic recitation and learning.

What made the experience especially meaningful was the range of people who participated.

We welcomed visitors and tourists from Africa, France, the United States, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Japan. We also welcomed a child on the autism spectrum and MTTQ participants who shared beautiful Qur'anic recitations with Tarannum.

Each person came with a different background and experience.

Some were experienced reciters. Some were learners. Some simply wanted to understand more.

Yet everyone gathered around the same Qur'an.

This diversity reminded us that Qur'anic learning can connect people across language, culture, age, and ability.

Every Person Has a Different Qur'anic Journey

There is no single starting point for learning the Qur'an.

One person may begin by learning Arabic letters. Another may want to correct their tajweed. An experienced reader may want to improve their recitation. Someone else may want to understand what the verses mean and how they relate to daily life.

This is why accessible Qur'anic education matters.

A learner should feel comfortable asking questions and recognising areas where they need help. Teachers can then provide clear guidance based on the learner's current level.

Our experience at Quran Festival 2026 showed this clearly. The people who visited our booth had very different needs, yet each person could take a meaningful next step.

For some, that step was a conversation.

For others, it was participating in 'A Moment With Al-Quran'.

For several visitors, it meant signing up for an AtTartil QI programme and continuing their learning after the festival.

Making Qur'anic Knowledge Accessible

AtTartil QI believes that Qur'anic education should help people build a meaningful relationship with the Book of Allah.

This means creating different ways for people to learn.

Classes remain important, but learning can also begin through community events, practical activities, digital resources, conversations, and short learning sessions.

Quran Festival 2026 gave us the chance to bring these different forms of engagement into one space.

It also allowed our teachers and team members to listen. We heard questions from learners. We met families. We spoke with visitors from overseas. These interactions help us understand how Qur'anic education can serve a wider community.

The Qur'an as Guidance for Everyone

Allah describes the Qur'an in Surah Al-Baqarah (2:185) as guidance for humanity. This reminds us that our relationship with the Qur'an should extend beyond recitation alone.

We should read it, understand its guidance, reflect on its message, and allow that knowledge to shape our actions.

This is also why community programmes such as Quran Festival matter. They create another doorway for someone to discover the Qur'an.

A short conversation may encourage someone to start learning. A recitation may touch someone's heart. A simple activity may inspire a parent to seek Qur'anic education for their family.

We may not always see where that first step leads, but every sincere effort to share beneficial knowledge has value.

Thank You to Masjid Sultan and Everyone Who Joined Us

We are grateful to everyone who visited the AtTartil QI booth during Quran Festival 2026.

Thank you to those who participated in our activities, joined 'A Moment With Al-Quran', spoke with our team, explored our programmes, and registered to continue learning with us.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to the organisers from Masjid Sultan Singapore for inviting AtTartil Quranic Institute to be part of the festival.

The opportunity allowed us to meet new people, share Qur'anic knowledge, and serve the community in a meaningful setting.

Continue Your Qur'anic Journey With AtTartil QI

Quran Festival 2026 reminded us of something simple but important: different people may have different journeys, but the Qur'an can bring all of us together.

Allah says in Surah Al-Qamar (54:17) that He has made the Qur'an easy for remembrance and asks whether there is anyone who will take heed. This reminder encourages us to keep creating opportunities for people to read, learn, reflect, and reconnect with His Book.

At AtTartil Quranic Institute, we will continue working towards our mission: "Where Qur'anic Knowledge Transforms Lives."

May Allah ﷻ bless every learner, teacher, volunteer, organiser, and person who takes a step closer to the Qur'an. May He allow us to continue serving the Qur'an and communities in Singapore and beyond. Āmīn.
