Our jemaah returned from the 11-day New Zealand trip with clear faces, light hearts, and deep gratitude. Each day gave them a chance to reflect on the signs of Allah through mountains, lakes, rivers, farms, and long roads that connected one city to another. The journey helped everyone understand how nature strengthens one’s view of the Quran and how travel brings guidance and clarity.
Seeing the Signs of Allah in the Mountains
The mountains in South New Zealand left a strong impact on our group. Mount Cook stood tall with clean white snow, clear air, and silent peaks. Many jemaah shared that standing before the mountain helped them understand why Allah uses mountains in the Quran as symbols of strength and stability. The sight made them feel small, yet safe under Allah’s care. It set the tone for the rest of the trip, where calm reflection became a natural part of the day.
Learning From Sheep, Farms, and Simple Life

The visit to the Agrodome Farm in Rotorua was memorable. The jemaah saw sheep, farm routines, and the way farmers treat their animals with care. This helped them reflect on verses related to livestock, rizq, and trust in Allah’s provision. Many said this experience made them appreciate simple work and patience. Watching the sheep move as a group reminded them about unity, guidance, and the need to follow a clear path in life.
Understanding Travel and Musafir Through Real Experience

This trip helped the jemaah understand the meaning of musafir in a real way. Long drives between cities, early Subuh prayers, and short stops to rest gave them space to reflect on why travel is part of our deen. They saw how travel opens the mind and clears the heart. Moving from Auckland to Rotorua, then to Christchurch, Mount Cook, Queenstown, Te Anau, and Milford Sound allowed them to see many signs of Allah in a short time. These long routes turned into moments of quiet zikr and reflection.
Nature That Softened Hearts
Each part of New Zealand had its own beauty. The blue water of Lake Tekapo, the views at Lake Pukaki, the calm of Wanaka, and the wide open fields reminded the jemaah of how Allah creates balance and harmony in nature. Milford Sound, with its tall cliffs and strong waterfalls, made many pause in silence. Some said that standing in front of the fiord helped them understand verses about the sea, wind, and rain with more clarity.
These views made the Quran feel close. They helped many connect with the messages of patience, gratitude, and reliance on Allah.
Moments of Prayer and Reflection Together

The group prayed together in mosques across the cities, including Masjid An-Nur in Christchurch. This created a strong bond within the jemaah. They shared simple meals, walked together, and listened to short reminders. These moments helped everyone grow and support one another. Many said these reminders helped them interpret their surroundings through the Quran, and this made each stop meaningful.
Joy, Brotherhood, and New Perspective
The jemaah ended the journey with joy. They felt refreshed and thankful for the chance to travel in a group that valued knowledge, prayers, and simple reflection. Many said they returned home with a new view of the Quran, as they saw how nature supports every message that Allah reveals. They also felt that this trip helped them reset their goals and return home with a clearer heart.
